Following on from the success of our first Bumper/Skid plates our NEW short style bumper originally designed for the Tamiya Grasshopper has been made after listening to all the feedback of the originals. You wanted a smaller, stubbier version and this Aluminium lightweight skid plate/front bumper can also fit The Hornet, Subaru Brat, The Wild One, The Frog and The FAV. This new part is finished in a clear natural anodise which gives a fantastic even colour, not to shiny and not to dull, as per your requests !!
We now have stock of our battery trays designed to safely house your Lipo batteries. Of course these can still also hold other forms of cells such as Nimh’s & Nicd’s but at last we no longer have to worry about flying cells with the use of glass tape alone!! You can now mount these trays direct to your chassis through the normal battery post holes and use either hook & loop (Velcro) or tape to secure the cells down. The design also gives maximum protection to your batteries and on the outer facing edge you can even mount your counter balance weights keeping a lower centre of gravity.

After listening to all the feedback from one of our most popular products, the Grasshopper bumper/skid plates, we are currently manufacturing two new ’stubby’ style versions. These are again available for the Grasshopper, FAV, Wild One, Hornet and Subaru Brat and will have finishes of clear and black hard anodise. Due for an early March release.
Due for an early March release date we have new upgrades for Tamiya’s Boomerang and Hotshot. All parts will fit both the original and re-released chassis and comprise of a front dual shock suspension conversion kit for the Hotshot and Boomerang, a rear multi-position suspension tower for the Boomerang, Hard anodised front bumpers for the Hotshot and boomerang and finally battery tray’s and front anti-roll bar mounts for the Hotshot.
